The Medical Director at West Brook, Bruce Baker MD, is a Certified Medical Review Officer (CMRO) and is certified by the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM). Sixty to ninety minute Addiction Medicine Assessments by Dr. Baker can be arranged by calling 1-866-964-7280 toll free or 1-616-957-1200.
Five Day Assessments are much more comprehensive than the Addiction Medicine Assessment. To establish diagnosis and to provide clarity regarding level of care, prospective patients complete an extensive evaluation including the following components:
- An Addiction Medicine Assessment
- A psychological evaluation
- Comprehensive psychological testing
- Bio-psychosocial assessment
- History and Physical Examination
- Laboratory work and drug screens
- Psychiatric evaluation, if necessary
- Neuropsychological Screening, if necessary
